Served as acting OSP- Construction Manager on several occasions, while in this role I received the Verizon Individual Excellence Award for the coordination of replacing and splicing over eight miles of aerial and buried cable in a three day period during the North Port Florida wild fires. Also responsible for the timely completion of Hi-Cap and DSL work orders some with same day commitments. United Way Ambassador for the Bradenton District 2001. OSP-Inspector, inspect in progress and completed work orders for quality, RE: placing , splicing , and contractor invoicing. Accomplishments while in this position, thorough understanding of engineers work prints, and finding over five miles of new cable that had been placed shallow by a GTE contractor on several work orders. This would have caused the service life of these cables to be greatly reduced due to repeated damages, and additional expense to GTE.
